British naturalist and TV presenter Chris Packham has been announced as Veganuary's latest ambassador, and will support the charity by following a vegan diet for the month of January, documenting his journey on social media.

Packham joins fellow Veganuary ambassadors Sarah-Jane Crawford and Evanna Lynch, and commented 'I’ve been interested in the impact of my diet upon the environment for a long time… there’s the impact that those animals [in animal agriculture] have on climate change… which we know is far more influential on climate change than all of our emissions from vehicles and aircraft'.
